Job summary

Midwest Health, Inc. is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct and indirect resident care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.

The role involves performing routine personal care tasks, safeguarding resident dignity, and maintaining confidentiality while supporting a respectful care environment. Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, oral care, mobility, feeding as needed, and documenting care provided.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CNA certification in good standing with the State.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must be able to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays when necessary.
• Must be able to meet the general health requirements set forth by State regulations and Company policy.

Responsibilities

• Comply with the Community’s personnel, safety and corporate policies and procedures.
• Report incidents of resident abuse/neglect promptly to supervisor.
• Maintain resident confidentiality.
• Assist in admission and discharge of residents.
• Assist residents with daily activities (oral care, bathing, grooming).
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and daily living tasks as directed.
