Job summary

Midwest Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct and indirect resident care under the supervision of a licensed nurse. You will perform routine tasks to support residents’ daily living and comfort, while upholding safety and confidentiality.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, adherence to facility policies, and timely communication with the nursing team. Candidates must hold a valid CNA certificate and be able to work flexible hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CNA certification that is in good standing with the State.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must be able to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect resident care under the direction of a licensed nurse.
• Comply with the Community’s policies and procedures.
• Report abuse/neglect immediately to the Executive Director, RCC or Unit Manager.
• Assist in admission and discharge of resident.
