Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a compassionate CNA/Direct Care Giver to provide quality daily living assistance to residents in Savannah, GA. The role emphasizes independence, safety, and meaningful activities, with documentation and strong team communication as core responsibilities.

Candidates must hold an active Georgia CNA license, be CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain, and be able to lift and assist residents.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active CNA license from the state of Georgia.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well with residents, families, and staff.
• Good organizational skills and reliability.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days.
• Physical ability to assist residents (lift 50 lbs, push or carry 25 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living to promote independence.
• Conduct activities and provide meaningful experiences for residents.
• Report incidents and document appropriately in logs and records.
• Assist with housekeeping and dining room duties as directed.
• Support move-ins and transitions with emotional support.
• Communicate resident status and changes to the care team.
• Participate in in-services and staff meetings.
