Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, LLC seeks a compassionate CNA/Direct Care Giver to provide quality care and assistance with activities of daily living for residents in McDonough, Georgia. You will encourage independence, support participation in activities, and document care and incidents according to policy.

Responsibilities include reporting concerns to RNs, assisting with meals and mobility, maintaining safety and confidentiality, and supporting residents with move-in transitions.

Qualifications

• Must possess current CNA license from the State in which the community is located and in good standing with the Board of Nursing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and push or carry 25 lbs.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Encourage residents to participate in activities and remain as independent as possible.
• Conduct activities and provide meaningful experiences for residents.
• Report incidents and care concerns to RN/LPN or ED and document appropriately.
• Perform housekeeping duties as directed and ensure areas are clean.
• Respond promptly to resident calls for assistance or emergencies and stay calm under pressure.
• Communicate resident status and upcoming information to the team and families as needed.
