Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in McDonough, GA is seeking a compassionate CNA/Direct Care Giver to assist residents with activities of daily living, monitor health, and support independence in a caring community.

The role requires current CNA license, strong communication, teamwork, and flexibility to work weekends/holidays; CPR/First Aid certification is a plus. The organization offers training and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess current CNA license from the State in which the community is located and in good standing with the Board of Nursing.
• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in-writing.
• Must be organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.
• Must be CPR/First Aid certified, or be willing to become certified within 60 days of hire.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Provide quality care and maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Complete daily log and clinical records, reporting changes to the team.
• Perform housekeeping duties and assist with dining and activities as directed.
• Respond promptly to resident calls and emergencies and communicate status to appropriate staff.
