The Nursing Assistant (NA) at Good Samaritan Society – Desmet Center in De Smet, SD – provides resident-centered nursing care under RN supervision, assisting with daily living activities, vital signs, and safety protocols.

This full-time role includes assisting with meals, mobility, and documentation, adherence to infection control, and participation in wellness programs. Eligible for benefits, a $10,000 sign-on bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16.
• CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement.
• CNA training and certification required and provided by facility.
• Completes yearly competency testing and maintains 12 hours of continuing education annually.

Responsabilidades

• Provide resident-centered nursing care under RN supervision.
• Assist with daily living activities and mobility.
• Monitor and record vital signs and contribute to care planning.
• Assist with meals, bathing, grooming, and safety assistance.
• Maintain infection control practices and document resident interactions.
