Job summary

The Good Samaritan Society is hiring a Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the De Smet, SD facility. You will provide resident-centered care under RN supervision, including daily living assistance, vital signs, and mobility support. This is a full-time, day-shift position with a 40-hour work week.

Eligible full-time staff receive comprehensive benefits and a sign-on bonus of $10,000. A CNA certification is required, with continued education credits and potential driving duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must have CNA certification and state approval within four months.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.
• Willingness to perform driving duties when required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities and personal care.
• Record vital signs and document care provided.
• Support transfers and mobility using safe techniques.
• Assist with meals, dining, and wound care as needed.
