Job summary

The Good Samaritan Society is hiring a Nursing Assistant (NA) at our De Smet, SD facility to provide compassionate, resident-centered care under RN supervision. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, meals, vital signs, and supporting infection control protocols.

This full-time role offers benefits and includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Must hold CNA certification or be in process, with state board eligibility. Shift: Day, 8 hours; weekly hours 40.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Minimum age 16 with CNA experience preferred.
• CNA certification with State Board of Nursing required or in process to certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care per care plan.
• Assist with daily living activities, meals, and mobility.
• Take and document vital signs and communicate changes to RN.
