The Good Samaritan Society in De Smet, SD is hiring a Nursing Assistant (NA) for long-term care. You will provide resident-centered care, assist with daily living activities, and document care per the care plan under RN supervision.

Requires high school diploma or GED and CNA certification; preferred prior experience. This full-time position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and benefits including 401(k) and PTO from day one.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Minimum age 16.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required or in process within four months of date into the position.
• Maintains continuing education credits annually.

Aufgaben

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and feeding.
• Record vital signs and communicate changes to the RN.
• Assist with transferring, repositioning, ROM and walking.
• Support meals, hydration, and recreational activities.
• Document interactions and care outcomes; assist with care plans.
