Job summary

Good Samaritan Society is hiring a Nursing Assistant (NA) at the De Smet, SD facility to provide compassionate, resident-centered care under the supervision of a registered nurse. You will help with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, assist transfers, and support meals and mobility.

This full-time role offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus, comprehensive benefits, and a supportive team in a long-term care setting. CNA certification is required or pursued within four months of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Minimum age 16; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience preferred.
• CNA certification with State Board or state CNA certification within four months of hire.
• CNA training and certification provided by facility.
• Maintains required continuing education credits annually.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal support.
• Record vital signs and document resident status in care plan.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, ROM, and range of motion exercises.
• Support wellness and recreational activities and assist with meals and dining.
