Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant/Direct Care Giver to provide quality daily living support to residents in our community. You will assist with activities of daily living, help plan activities, and ensure a safe, respectful environment.

You will document resident status, respond to requests and emergencies, and maintain confidentiality of information while working as part of a dedicated nursing team. Training and flexible scheduling offered.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current CNA license from the state where the community is located.
• Effective communication skills in writing and speech.
• Ability to stay organized and work well with all levels of staff.
• Be a cooperative, contributing member of the nursing team.”
• Polite, respectful behavior toward residents, visitors and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Report incidents and care concerns to appropriate staff and document properly.
• Perform housekeeping tasks in resident areas and common spaces.
• Respond promptly to resident calls and emergencies.
• Plan and help conduct activity programs for residents.
• Follow confidentiality policies for resident information.
