Job summary

JGS - Leavitt Family Jewish Home in Massachusetts is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate, hands-on care. You will assist with ADLs, monitor residents’ well-being, and document changes for the nursing team, helping ensure comfort and safety.

This full-time or part-time role offers a $2,000 sign-on for night shifts, competitive pay ($18.50–$21.00/hour) based on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package, generous PTO, and an inclusive workplace

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts CNA certification in good standing.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, meals and other ADLs.
• Observe, document, and report changes in residents' condition to the nursing team.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, ambulation, and mobility equipment to promote safety.
• Encourage participation in activities to support independence and quality of life.
• Respond to call lights promptly and maintain a clean, safe resident environment.

• Be a trusted and caring presence throughout the shift by responding to residents' needs, answering call lights promptly, and helping maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment.

Qualifications for Success:

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing with the MA state registry.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English - both verbally and written
