Job summary

Leavitt Family Jewish Home is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a PRN basis in Massachusetts. You will administer medications, monitor residents, and document assessments in the EHR while following physician orders and individualized care plans.

You will collaborate with residents, families, and the care team to uphold dignity and independence, support daily living activities, and ensure infection control and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered MA RN licensure.
• Strong clinical skills in medication administration, vital signs monitoring and documentation in EHR.
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations, infection control standards, and patient safety protocols.
• Current CPR certifications, including BLS and ACLS.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care by administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and providing treatments.
• Assist residents with daily care needs, mobility, and routines while promoting dignity and independence.
• Monitor residents' health, recognize changes, provide wound care, and document assessments and outcomes.
• Collaborate with residents, families, and the care team to update individualized care plans.
• Maintain a safe environment by following infection prevention practices and safety standards.

$41.00 - $48.00/hour, based on experience

Qualifications for Success:

• Active, unencumbered MA Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Strong clinical skills in basic nursing procedures, including medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations, infection control standards, and patient safety protocols in a skilled nursing or similar healthcare setting.
• Current CPR certifications, including BLS and ACLS.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English – both verbally and written
