Job summary

JGS Leavitt Family Jewish Home in Longmeadow, MA is seeking a Life Enrichment Aide - CNA to support residents with engaging activities and daily living in a compassionate setting.

The role requires a current MA CNA certification, strong energy, and the ability to lead group activities. Full-time position with 10:00 AM–6:00 PM shifts and rotating weekends/holidays; memory care experience preferred and basic MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current MA CNA Certification.
• Position requires upbeat, high energy and the ability to engage residents in activities.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Memory Care, Assisted Living or Long-Term care preferred.
• Moderate to advanced computer skills – MS Office including Word, Publisher, Outlook and Excel.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English – both verbally and written.

Responsibilities

• Assist with providing engaging recreational and therapeutic activities that support residents' individual needs and care goals.
• Document participation and progress accurately.
• Assist with coordinating and supervising group activities, events, concerts and other activities, ensuring residents are safely escorted and actively engaged.
• Safely transport residents to outings and appointments by driving community vans and assisting with transfers as needed.

Life Enrichment Aide - CNA | JGS Leavitt Family Jewish Home
$19.00 - $21.00/hour, based on experience
Full -Time | 10:00AM – 6:00PM | rotating weekends and holidays 8:00AM – 4:30PM

Qualifications for Success:

• MUST have a current, Active MA CNA Certification
• Position requires upbeat, high energy and the ability to engage residents in activities!
• Minimum 1-year experience working in a Memory Care, Assisted Living or Long-Term care setting preferred
