Job summary

JGS - Leavitt Family Jewish Home is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate care and support with daily living activities in a long-term care setting. The role offers both full-time and part-time schedules, with a $2,000 sign-on bonus for night shifts (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM).

Responsibilities include helping residents with ADLs, mobility, documentation, and promoting safety and quality of life; English fluency is required and MA CNA certification must be current.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing with MA state registry.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English - both verbally and written

Responsibilities

• Provide ADL assistance: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, meals.
• Observe and report changes in residents' physical, emotional, or cognitive well-being to nursing staff.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, ambulation, and mobility to promote safety and independence.
• Encourage participation in recreational, social, and therapeutic activities to enhance quality of life.
• Respond to call lights promptly and maintain a clean, safe environment throughout the shift.
