Job summary

JGS Leavitt Family Jewish Home is seeking a Life Enrichment Aide - CNA to support residents with engaging activities and care. The role is full-time with a day shift from 10:00AM to 6:00PM, including rotating weekends and holidays.

The position requires an active MA CNA certification and strong English communication skills. Responsibilities include leading recreational activities, documenting progress, coordinating events, and transporting residents as needed.

Qualifications

• Active MA CNA certification is required.
• Engage residents with upbeat, high-energy interactions.
• Minimum 1 year in Memory Care/Assisted Living/Long-Term Care preferred.
• Proficient MS Office skills (Word, Publisher, Outlook, Excel) and English fluency.

• Assist with engaging recreational and therapeutic activities for residents.

• Coordinate and supervise group activities and events, ensuring safety and engagement.

Life Enrichment Aide - CNA | JGS Leavitt Family Jewish Home
$19.00 - $21.00/hour, based on experience
Full -Time | 10:00AM – 6:00PM | rotating weekends and holidays 8:00AM – 4:30PM

Delivering Solutions that Matter:

• Assist with providing engaging recreational and therapeutic activities that support residents' individual needs and care goals.
• Document participation and progress accurately.
• Assist with coordinating and supervising group activities, special events, concerts, and other activities, ensuring residents are safely escorted and actively engaged.
• Safely transport residents to recreational outings and appointments by driving community vans and assisting with resident transfers as needed.

Qualifications for Success:

• MUST have a current, Active MA CNA Certification
• Position requires upbeat, high energy and the ability to engage residents in activities!
• Minimum 1-year experience working in a Memory Care, Assisted Living or Long-Term care setting preferred
• Moderate to advanced computer skills – specifically with MS Office including Work, Publisher, Outlook email, and Excel.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English – both verbally and written
