Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 4–7 years in configuration management or related IT operations.
• ITIL-aligned concepts for service asset and configuration management.
• Experience with enterprise ITSM/CMDB platforms (e.g., ServiceNow).
• Ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day CMDB operations by establishing processes to manage CIs and their relationships.
• Analyze discovery feeds and change records to reconcile data discrepancies and improve accuracy.
• Plan and execute configuration audits, compare CMDB data to inventories, and oversee remediation.
• Configure ITSM/CMDB tools to build queries, reports, and dashboards for impact analysis.
• Ensure records are linked to CIs to improve traceability and reporting on service impacts.
• Define and report CMDB data quality metrics; drive governance and training.
• Contribute to CMDB plans, procedures, and work instructions aligned with ITIL in a federal environment.
