Job summary

SouthState Bank is seeking an IT Configuration Manager to own CMDB strategy, governance, and data quality. The role partners with ITSM, IT Operations, asset management, risk, audit, and business teams to improve visibility into services, assets, and change impacts.

You will lead the enterprise CMDB program, oversee data quality, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement. A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in ITSM/configuration management are expected; ITIL/ServiceNow certifications

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Admin, MIS or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum of 5 years in ITSM, configuration management, CMDB admin, IT asset mgmt, or related tech discipline.
• ITIL Foundation preferred; ServiceNow/CMDB ITOM training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise CMDB strategy, governance, standards, policies, and roadmap execution.
• Oversee CMDB data quality, reconciliation, relationships, lifecycle, and health metrics.
• Define CI scope, ownership, data requirements, and dependency relationships with IT teams.
• Support incident/problem/change/release, asset, risk, audit, and service management with trusted CMDB data.
