Job summary

Marathon TS is seeking an IT Configuration Analyst to maintain CMDB records and support ITIL-based configuration management practices across the enterprise. The role collaborates with Change Management, Service Desk, Asset Management, and Infrastructure teams to ensure accurate documentation and data integrity.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in Configuration Management or related ITSM fields, experience with ServiceNow, and working knowledge of ITIL.

Qualifications

• Experience with Configuration Management and CMDB administration.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL processes and ITSM practices.
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated analytical and organizational abilities.
• Enterprise IT environment experience.
• Active Secret Clearance Required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update CMDB records and CI relationships.
• Document, track, and manage configuration items across systems.
• Support configuration audits and data quality initiatives.
• Assist Change Management and analyze configuration impact.
• Generate CMDB reports and metrics for compliance.
• Collaborate with IT teams to improve configuration processes.
• Develop and maintain configuration management documentation.
• Participate in continuous process improvements.
