The role involves rigorous legal research, drafting, and collaboration with partners to craft favorable strategies for clients. Candidates should have a JD from an accredited law school, be admitted in the relevant state, and have at least 2 years of law firm experience; CMBS/structured finance exposure is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• JD degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in the state where office is located.
• Minimum 2 years of law firm experience; CMBS/structured finance experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform legal research and analysis to support transactions and strategy.
• Draft briefs, motions, contracts, and correspondence with high accuracy.
• Assist/manage complex cases/transactions from inception to closing and beyond.
• Build and maintain internal and external client relationships with professionalism.
• Collaborate with lawyers and business professionals to develop transaction strategies.
• Attend and support high-level legal activities including hearings and negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with legal standards and stay updated on changes in law.
