Job Summary

Summary: Takes food and beverage orders and delivers items efficiently to guests in the dining room.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Promptly and warmly greet guests; take food and beverage orders following established service steps.
2. Deliver food promptly and professionally; maintain safety and sanitation standards; assist guests as needed.
3. Understand menu items and ingredients; advise guests on food and drink pairings; accommodate dietary requests and allergies.
4. Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure correct order delivery and special requests.
5. Exhibit excellent communication skills and teamwork; remain flexible and patient with guests and staff.
6. Handle tickets and cash following proper procedures.
7. Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting environment.
8. Respect confidentiality regarding personal or medical information.
9. Address complaints promptly; communicate issues to supervisor.
10. Set up and clean the dining area before and after service; meet sanitation standards.
11. Operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, and beverage machines.
12. Collaborate with other departments during special events.
13. Perform additional duties as assigned.
