Job Summary

Summary: Prepares and serves beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Adhere to liquor laws and regulations regarding serving alcohol to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Set up and stock the bar with beer, wine, spirits, supplies, garnishes, and produce.
• Maintain stock and prepare garnishes, juices, and perishables to ensure quality.
• Greet guests courteously.
• Take and process drink orders; mix, garnish, and serve drinks following recipes; control portions.
• Verify guest IDs for alcohol service.
• Detect and respond to guest intoxication as trained; demonstrate liquor law knowledge.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and verify charges.
• Secure all beverages, food, and cash at the end of shifts.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Arrange bottles and glasses attractively.
• Wash and sterilize glassware.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
