Job summary

BATON ROUGE JONES CREEK CLUB 24 LLC seeks an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager and lead a team across all gym operations. The AGM will help drive member satisfaction, manage daily operations, and contribute to revenue growth while ensuring financial sustainability.

This role oversees staff in the absence of the GM, drives sales of memberships, schedules payroll, maintains club quality, and builds community partnerships.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; higher degree preferred.
• CPR/AED certification required.
• Some supervisory or leadership experience in a high-level customer service industry preferred.
• Must be able to travel to other clubs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations in the absence of the General Manager.
• Sell memberships via outbound calls and online inquiries.
• Maintain welcoming atmosphere and ensure superior customer service.
• Support staff development and training.
• Collaborate with General Manager and Regional Manager to address issues.
• Ensure accurate daily deposits and financial controls.
• Oversee payroll and scheduling to keep staffing adequately.
• Maintain club cleanliness and pass inspections.
