Job summary

CLUB4 Fitness in Baton Rouge is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead operations, drive revenue growth, and mentor a diverse gym staff. You will report to the General Manager and oversee daily duties when the GM is away, while building community partnerships to boost membership and member satisfaction.

The role emphasizes sales leadership, staff development, and ensuring financial integrity through deposits and compliance.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required; supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• CPR/AED certification required.
• Strong customer service and sales orientation with professional demeanor.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced gym setting.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to prospective members to drive sales at the location.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests with exceptional service standards.
• Support staff development by coaching and mentoring team members.
• Collaborate with the General Manager and Regional Manager to resolve issues promptly and respectfully.
• Promote an outstanding customer experience and CLUB4 Fitness in local communities.
• Oversee daily deposits, policy compliance, and inventory control.
• Schedule staff and ensure adequate coverage, especially in GM absence.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and adhere to company policies.
• Partner with GM and MOD to foster strong teamwork and positive member interactions.
• Handle other duties as assigned by leadership.
