Job summary

24 Hour Fitness is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the front desk, wage-and-hour compliance, and Kids' Club operations where applicable. You will supervise Club Attendants and Sales & Service staff, ensure a safe, clean club environment, and support member experiences.

You will also drive retail performance, manage scheduling, and coordinate with the General Manager on staffing and training. This role requires strong leadership and a customer-first mindset within a busy club setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory or team lead experience in fitness, hospitality, retail, or customer service.
• Experience building employee schedules and managing labor hours to a budget.
• Knowledge of wage-and-hour practices and timekeeping; ability to learn quickly.
• Strong communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills with a member-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise Sales & Service Associates, Kids' Club Attendants, and Club Attendants.
• Onboard/train new team members on service standards, systems, safety, and timekeeping.
• Coach team members, conduct performance conversations, and recommend actions to GM.
• Ensure meal/rest breaks are scheduled and timecards are accurate.
• Lead front desk operations and support member inquiries and check-ins.
• Drive retail performance and member sentiment; manage merchandising and inventory.
