Job summary

24 Hour Fitness is seeking an Operations Manager to partner with the General Manager and oversee a busy club’s front-line operations. You will manage front desk and member services, Kids’ Club where applicable, and daily club administration to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

You will lead a team of attendants and sales staff, handle scheduling and compliance, and drive retail performance while maintaining a high level of member satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of supervisory or team lead experience in fitness, hospitality, retail, or customer service.
• Experience building employee schedules and managing labor hours to a budget.
• Working knowledge of wage-and-hour practices, including meal and rest periods and timekeeping.
• Proficient with POS, scheduling/timekeeping systems, Microsoft 365, and mobile/tablet tools.
• CPR/AED certification or ability to obtain within required timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises front-line staff and partners with the GM on recruiting and selection.
• Onboards and trains new team members on service standards, club systems, safety, and timekeeping.
• Coaches team members, conducts performance conversations, and recommends actions to the GM.
• Manages timecards, attendance, and payroll compliance; enforces meal/rest break policies.
• Drives club performance in front-desk operations, retail, and member sentiment.
