24 Hour Fitness in Valley Stream, NY seeks an Operations Manager to lead front-line club operations, ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment, and deliver exceptional member experiences. You will supervise front desk staff, oversee scheduling, timekeeping, and wage-and-hour compliance, and partner with the General Manager to drive retail success and overall club performance.

Responsibilities include coaching teams, managing timecards, supporting member services, and ensuring policy

Competenze

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of one year supervisory or team lead experience in fitness, hospitality, retail, or customer service.
Experience building employee schedules and managing labor hours to a budget.
Working knowledge of wage‑and‑hour practices, including meal and rest periods and timekeeping.
Strong communication, coaching, and conflict‑resolution skills with a member‑first service mindset.

Mansioni

Directly supervises Sales & Service Associates, Kids' Club Attendants, and Club Attendants; partners with GM on recruiting, interviewing, and selection.
Onboards and trains new team members on service standards, club systems, safety procedures, and timekeeping.
Coaches team members, conducts performance conversations and reviews, and recommends pay, promotion, and corrective action to GM.
Addresses employee relations concerns promptly and fairly, escalating to GM and HR when appropriate.
Processes new hire paperwork and personnel changes accurately and on time in HR systems.
