Job summary

24 Hour Fitness is seeking an Operations Manager to partner with the General Manager to run a clean, safe, and welcoming club and deliver an exceptional member experience. You will supervise front-line staff, manage schedules and timekeeping, and ensure wage-and-hour compliance while driving retail performance and member satisfaction.

The role requires strong leadership, coaching, and organizational skills, with the ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays in a bustling

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
• Experience building employee schedules and managing labor hours to a budget.
• Strong communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills with a member-first service mindset.
• Proficiency with POS, scheduling/timekeeping systems, Microsoft 365, and mobile/tablet tools.
• CPR/AED certification (including infant/child) or ability to obtain within required timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises Sales & Service staff, Kids' Club Attendants, and Club Attendants; partner on recruiting and selection.
• Onboards and trains new team members on service standards, club systems, safety, and timekeeping.
• Coaches team members, conducts performance conversations, and recommends promotions or corrective action.
• Ensure wage-and-hour compliance and proper meal/rest breaks; manage timecards and documentation.
• Lead front desk operations: member check-in, guest registration, inquiries, and app support.
• Drive club performance in retail, and merchandising, and build positive member sentiment.
• Oversee club operations, POS, cash handling, deposits, supplies, and reporting.
