Job summary

Houston Fitness Partners is seeking a Club Manager to lead Planet Fitness locations in the Houston area. You will oversee staff, member experience, and daily operations to maintain a welcoming, high-service environment.

Responsibilities include recruiting and developing the team, managing payroll/scheduling, handling member inquiries, and ensuring safety and cleanliness. A high school diploma and CPR/AED certification are required, with growth opportunities within the franchise.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
• Experience as an Assistant Manager at Planet Fitness is a plus.
• Strong leadership, diplomacy and listening abilities.
• Basic computer proficiency, including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train and develop staff including Assistant Managers, MSRs and Fitness Instructors.
• Lead by example and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests.
• Oversee payroll and scheduling to ensure proper staffing.
• Address issues promptly and professionally with staff and members.
• Manage front desk activities, member sign-ups, and check-ins.
• Ensure opening/closing following proper protocols and maintain facility cleanliness.
• Coordinate marketing efforts to meet revenue goals and prepare reports.
