Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a Club Manager to oversee gym operations, drive member experience, and ensure the club's financial success.

You will recruit, train and supervise staff, manage front desk activities, and implement marketing promotions while maintaining a welcoming Judgement Free Zone.

Qualifications

• Honesty and good work ethic.
• At least 1 year of equivalent managerial experience.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, schedule and supervise team members.
• Member service oversight ensuring a great customer service experience at all times.
• High involvement in front desk tasks: greeting members, tours, and handling service questions.
• Provide support for team members and club members.
• Create and maintain a positive image for the club.
• Coaching and counseling performance to meet company standards.
• Ensure opening/closing of gym is timely.
• Ensure staff are trained on promotions and policies.
• Complete onboarding in Paycom for new hires.
• Ensure the club is open and staffed during all business hours.
• Enforce adherence to all company policies and procedures.
• Order supplies and track inventory.
