Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Club Manager in daily operations and to drive a welcoming, clean, and safe gym environment. You will lead front desk and cleaning staff, promote the Judgement Free Zone culture, and assist with member sign-ups, tours, and inquiries.

The role requires strong customer service, leadership, and conflict resolution skills, with CPR/AED and tanning certifications completed within required timeframes.

Qualifications

• Must have 18 years of age or older.
• Excellent member service skills and a positive attitude.
• Strong leadership, communication and conflict resolution abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• CPR/AED Certification and tanning certification as required by company timelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist Club Manager with daily operations and supervision of front desk and cleaning staff.
• Lead by example to promote a positive, team-driven environment.
• Support staff scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Handle member inquiries, sign-ups, tours, and guest relations.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and policy compliance across the club.
