Job summary

Planet Fitness Franchising, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee day-to-day club operations and ensure a Judgement Free member experience. You will assist in hiring, firing, and training, while leading a team to meet performance objectives and drive a financially successful club.

The role involves front desk leadership, staff development, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with club policies. Reporting to the Club Manager, you will coach staff and uphold PFMW values daily.

Qualifications

• One year of customer service experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• CPR certification required.
• Superior problem solving skills.
• Exceptional leadership and diplomacy skills.
• Be a representative of PFMW values at all times: respect, passion, family, teamwork, fun, trust, loyalty.
• May require travel for training and to support other locations.
• Overtime, weekends, evenings, and holidays may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Club Manager in creating staffing schedules and ensuring shifts are covered.
• Lead staff with coaching to provide exceptional customer service.
• Lead a team through systems and operations to achieve goals.
• Assist in HR forms and employee issue resolution.
• Provide backup for absent employees and maintain staff files.
