Planet Fitness Taymax Group in Portland, TX is seeking an Assistant Manager to support club operations and deliver a welcoming, “Judgement Free” experience. You will work with the Club Manager to lead front desk activities, supervise staff, and ensure exceptional customer service while keeping the club financially successful.

The role requires customer service experience, CPR certification, and the ability to train and develop staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in gym/retail.
• CPR certification required.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proven supervisory abilities and ability to work with a team.

Responsabilités

• Assist in recruiting, hiring and developing a high performing staff.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere and ensure superior customer service.
• Provide backup support to Club Manager and schedule staff shifts.
• Lead front desk activities and greet members to ensure a welcoming environment.
• Oversee cleanliness and safety of the club and communicate repairs as needed.
• Assist with supplies budgeting and weekly/monthly reporting.
• Support marketing efforts and daily banking as required.
