Job summary

Planet Fitness - TG3E/CM3 in Piqua, OH is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Club Manager in daily operations, drive member growth and maintain a clean, welcoming facility in line with Judgement Free Zone standards.

You will lead a team, oversee front desk and facilities, ensure safety and service quality, handle member questions, and help schedule staff while modeling strong communication and problem-solving in a busy fitness club environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• On-site work; this is not a remote position.
• CPR/AED Certification within required timeframes.
• Tanning Certification within company required timeframes.
• Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support hiring, training, and performance management of team members.
• Supervise, train, and motivate front desk and cleaning staff to provide excellent member service.
• Lead by example to promote a positive and team-oriented work environment.
• Motivate and coach staff to ensure team performance meets company standards.
• Assist with scheduling and supervising staff.
• Manage all daily club operations, ensuring areas are clean, safe, and fully functional.
• Enforce club policies and safety procedures.
• Provide shift coverage as needed for staffing.
