Job summary

Planet Fitness Franchising, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee daily club operations and support a Judgement Free member experience. You will help hire, train, and develop staff while driving sales and controlling costs at the Cincinnati club.

Responsibilities include staffing, coaching, scheduling, customer service, inventory, and ensuring a clean, safe facility. The role demands leadership, reliability, and a commitment to PFMW values.

Qualifications

• One year of customer service experience is preferred.
• High school diploma/GED equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• CPR certification required.
• Superior problem solving skills.
• Exceptional leadership and diplomacy skills.
• Be willing to travel occasionally for training and to support other locations.
• Overtime/weekends/evenings/holidays may be required; must be flexible.

Responsibilities

• Assist Club Manager in creating staffing schedules and ensuring shifts are covered.
• Lead and coach staff to provide exceptional customer service.
• Lead a team through systems and operations to achieve goals.
• Assist in preparing HR forms in a timely manner.
• Resolve employee issues professionally with Club Manager.
• Assist in disciplinary/termination activities.
• Provide backup support for absences.
• Uphold staff files integrity and security.
• Be a brand ambassador by promoting a Judgement Free lifestyle.
• Coach staff on daily operations and development.
• Assist in pre-screening, hiring, onboarding, and recruiting.
• Greet members and guests, sign up new members, and manage front desk operations.
• Respond to member questions and concerns promptly.
• Process POS transactions for merchandise/beverages.
• Maintain club cleanliness and equipment upkeep.
• Track inventory and run daily/weekly reports.
