Job summary

Midwest Fitness Partners is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee daily club operations and ensure a welcoming, judgment-free environment for members. You will assist in staffing, training, and coaching to drive exceptional service and performance.

In this role you’ll greet members, manage front desk activities, handle memberships, track inventory, and generate daily reports. Flexibility for overtime and training travel is required.

Qualifications

• One year of customer service experience is preferred.
• High school diploma/ GED equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• CPR certification required.
• Superior problem solving skills.
• Exceptional leadership and diplomacy skills.
• Be a representative of the core values of PFMW at all times by upholding the beliefs of respect, passion, family, teamwork, fun, trust, and loyalty.
• Must be willing to occasionally travel for training and to support other locations.
• This position may require overtime, weekends, evenings, and holidays. Must be flexible.

Responsibilities

• Assist Club Manager in staffing schedules and coverage.
• Lead and coach staff to provide exceptional service.
• Resolve employee issues professionally and maintain accountability.
• Assist in onboarding, hiring, and training processes.
• Greet members and manage front desk operations with great service.
• Maintain front desk, lobby, and facility cleanliness and order.
• Track KPIs, inventory, and reports; support marketing promotions.
