Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking an Assistant Manager to supervise gym operations and deliver a Judgement Free experience while driving club performance. This full-time role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays to support business needs.

You will lead staffing, front desk activities, member services, and daily operations, with a focus on sales, training, and maintaining a clean, welcoming facility.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older and legally eligible to work.
• Passion for helping others and delivering excellent service.
• Previous management experience is preferred.
• Current CPR certification is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and develop a high-performing team.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed individual sales goals and contribute to club targets.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training and developing staff.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for members, guests and staff.
• Provide backup support to Club Manager and supervise staff.
• Schedule and supervise staff; ensure superior customer service.
• Oversee front desk activities: check-in, tours, inquiries.
• Address member requests, issues and questions promptly.
• Assist in cleanliness and maintenance of the facility.
• Track statistics and prepare weekly, monthly and annual reports.
