Planet Fitness is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Club Manager in daily club operations, member engagement, and team leadership. You will help drive membership growth, maintain a clean and welcoming environment, and uphold Planet Fitness standards.

The role emphasizes supervision of front desk and cleaning staff, effective scheduling, and ensuring exceptional customer service in a fitness club setting.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work on-site (not remote).
• Must obtain and maintain CPR/AED Certification within required timeframes.
• Must obtain Tanning Certification within company required timeframes.
• Must submit to a background check within the first week of hire.
• Must be able to attend occasional off-site meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train staff to deliver excellent member service.
• Supervise front desk and cleaning staff and promote a positive team environment.
• Manage daily club operations, ensuring cleanliness, safety and full functionality.
• Enforce club policies and safety procedures.
• Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Provide shift coverage for absent staff.
