Job summary

Invited Clubs in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Cook 2 to handle setup, food preparation, and station organization, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation. You will work with Cook 1 and Cook 3 to maintain smooth kitchen operations and consistent quality across menu items.

This junior role requires culinary technique mastery and sanitation discipline, plus the ability to take on more complex tasks while supporting leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in the kitchen environment.
• Valid Food Handler Certifications as required by state and city regulations.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Set up, execution of daily prep, and organization of workstation.
• Prepare and store all food items necessary for your station, adhering to Invited.
• Maintain proper cooking techniques and presentation of daily items as designated by Chef(s).
• Prepare or assist in preparing complete meals, including soups, meats, gravies, vegetables, desserts, salads, and baked goods.
• Receive and store goods purchased by kitchen as requested.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area and kitchen, including equipment and waste areas.
• Assist in the cleaning of kitchen areas, inventory control, and equipment maintenance.
• Interact professionally with members and guests, accommodating changes and last-minute requests.
• Support fellow employees and contribute to a positive team environment; assist members and guests with 3-step service.
