Job summary

Invited is seeking a Cook 2 to manage set-up, food preparation, and workstation organization, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation. You will collaborate with Cook 1 and Cook 3, overseeing production and maintaining sanitation throughout the shift.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to safety guidelines, and support for leadership in delivering consistent menu items and specials. Prior kitchen experience and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in the kitchen environment.
• Valid Food Handler Certifications as required by state and city regulations.

Responsibilities

• Set up, execute daily prep, and organize workstation.
• Prepare and store all food items for your station, adhering to Invited.
• Maintain proper cooking techniques and presentation for daily specials and menu items.
• Prepare or assist in preparing complete meals including soups, meats, gravies, vegetables, desserts, salads, and baked goods.
• May supervise Cook 1 and other team members and assist in menu planning.
