Job summary

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of management experience in the broader retail/hospitality/fitness industry.
• 2-4 years of progressive management experience supervising 3-10+ employees in a team environment with measurable employee development and promotion outcomes.
• CPR/AED certification is required within 30 days of hire with company-supported training.
• Personal Training certification from a nationally recognized organization (e.g., NASM, ISSA) required within 90 days of hire; degree in Exercise Science or related field may satisfy instead.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to drive membership sales, fitness, retail, and other revenue streams, exceeding targets.
• Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team with shared goals and a one-team mindset.
• Provide ongoing support, coaching, and leadership to the team, setting clear objectives and accountability.
• Drive relationships with members by creating a welcoming, community-focused environment.
• Oversee day-to-day club operations, including facility maintenance, equipment upkeep, and cleanliness standards.
• Manage budgets defensively, control expenses, and maximize profitability while adhering to policies and procedures.
