Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in San Jose is seeking a Retail Manager to lead the CLUB program and champion the CLUB customer experience across the store. You will oversee the CLUB credit program, coach Outfitters, and support the management team during Manager on Duty shifts.

Responsibilities include driving CLUB metrics, delivering standout customer service, building talent, and ensuring compliance with corporate standards. This role requires strong leadership in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 to 4+ years Sales, Management, or Leadership Experience.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, commissions, and percentages.
• Ability to read and analyze reports; write reports and business correspondence.
• Proficiency with PC-based word processing, spreadsheets, data-based management and electronic point of sale and inventory management systems.
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Demonstrated use of Team concept of Management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the CLUB program and customer experience culture storewide.
• Lead CLUB promotions and training for staff and Outfitters.
• Recruit and develop CLUB Outfitters; build strong teams.
• Drive CLUB metrics and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
• Ensure compliance with operational programs and service standards.
