Job summary

Invited in San Francisco is seeking an Expeditor to ensure the smooth flow of dishes from kitchen to dining area, coordinating preparation and presentation to meet quality standards and guest expectations.

You will work with kitchen staff and front-of-house teams, monitor portion sizes, timing, and presentation, address issues quickly, and uphold safety and sanitation practices while delivering a warm, seamless dining experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of experience as an expeditor or in a similar role.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high quality and presentation standards.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee expediting during meal periods and ensure timely and accurate delivery of dishes.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to manage timing and presentation according to order tickets.
• Check each dish for quality, portioning, and presentation before leaving the kitchen.
• Communicate with front-of-house to ensure seamless kitchen-dining coordination.
• Monitor food quality to meet club standards for taste, appearance, and temperature.
• Address issues with food quality or presentation promptly and adjust as needed.
• Ensure special requests or dietary restrictions are followed.
• Keep expediting area organized and clean and maintain necessary tools.
• Assist with kitchen and dining area cleanliness as needed.
