Job summary

QTS Realty Trust in Georgia is seeking a Cloud Engineer I for the Operations Service Center. You will support internal and customer computing systems, with emphasis on automation, cloud tech, and proactive problem resolution. The role requires shift work in a 24x7 environment.

The position demands hands-on experience with Linux/Windows, VMware ESXi, networking, and AD/Exchange, plus monitoring and incident response. A strong customer focus and continuous improvement mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years progressive IT engineering experience.
• Experience with virtualization (VMware) and AD/Exchange in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a 24x7x365 Operations Service Center and be flexible in availability as needed.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of assigned tasks and projects.
• Manage tickets for SLA compliance and customer satisfaction.
• Provide operational support from monitoring alerts and incidents.
• Respond to production issues and drive resolution.
• Triage and escape tickets per QTS policy.
• Deliver customer-focused support via phone and tickets.
• Perform scheduled system maintenance and upgrades.
