Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks an experienced, customer-facing leader to coach, grow, and partner with Solution Architects serving nonprofit customers. You will shape cloud-based solutions, develop architectures, and lead the team in presenting complex designs to executives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management of technical, enterprise customer facing resources or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider like Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.

Responsibilities

• Lead two sub verticals within our nonprofit vertical.
• Set and lead strategic technology initiatives that spans across all the Nonprofit customers
• Hire, on-board, train, and develop new Solution Architects and leaders from internal and external sources.
• Build and coach the team on the skills needed to conduct one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions so they can transfer deep technical skills to customers who are considering or using AWS.
• Partner with Sales and Business Development leadership to accelerate progress for the team, adjusting resources strategies as needed.
• Lead solutions architecture teams in driving revenue and market share for AWS through technical engagements
• Act as a conduit and liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and Support
• Effectively communicate with a diverse set of audiences and drive both business and technology discussions with senior leaders internally and externally.
