Job summary
AWS seeks an experienced customer-facing leader to coach and grow a dynamic team of Cloud Solutions Architects serving nonprofit customers in Arlington, VA. You will guide architects in designing cloud architectures, launching cloud migrations, and working with sales to expand opportunities.
The role emphasizes leadership, solution selling, and executive communication, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver effective, scalable cloud solutions for the nonprofit sector.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of management of technical, enterprise customer facing resources or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience.
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider like Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.
Responsibilities
- Lead two sub verticals within our nonprofit vertical.
- Set and lead strategic technology initiatives across Nonprofit customers.
- Hire, on-board, train, and develop new Solution Architects and leaders.
- Build and coach the team on deep technical skills for transfer to customers.
- Partner with Sales to accelerate progress and adjust resource strategies.
- Lead solutions architecture teams in driving revenue and market share for AWS.
- Act as conduit between customers, service engineering, and Support.
- Communicate with diverse audiences and drive business and tech discussions with senior leaders.
