Leidos is seeking a Cybersecurity Team Lead to direct a front-line team securing DoD multi-cloud (AWS, GCP, Oracle) and hybrid infrastructures. The role sits at one of our core sites including Scott AFB, IL, and offers mentorship, advanced alert triage, and strategic guidance to senior leadership.

The position emphasizes people-first leadership, structured training, and a stable 5-day, 8-hour shift schedule while driving mission-critical security operations and customer coordination.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance with eligibility for Top Secret (TS).
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or higher.
• DoD 8570 CSSP-A Level Certification within 180 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Direct a team of cybersecurity analysts (6-8) across DoD multi-cloud environments.
• Oversee proactive threat monitoring and integration of IOCs into sensors and SIEMs.
• Lead incident response coordination with customers and USCYBERCOM.
• Provide strategic leadership and clear communications across cross-functional teams.
