Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Cybersecurity Team Lead to direct a front-line team securing DoD multi-cloud (AWS, GCP, Oracle) and hybrid infrastructures. This position can sit at Columbus, OH; Scott AFB, IL; or Hill AFB, UT, with a strong emphasis on leadership, mentoring, and mission-first priorities.

Qualifications

• Security clearance: Active DoD Secret with eligibility for Top Secret.
• Baseline certification: DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher (e.g., Security+ CE, SSCP, SANS GSEC).
• Specialty certification: DoD 8570 CSSP-A Level (CEH, CySA+, GCIA) within 180 days.
• Leadership background: At least 2 years in formal management or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of directly relevant experience; military service valued in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Direct a team of 6-8 cybersecurity analysts to perform proactive threat monitoring and real-time analysis across DoD multi-cloud environments.
• Oversee advanced alert triage using endpoint telemetry, IDS/IPS, NetFlow, and related data sources to rapidly detect threats.
• Coordinate analysis across AWS, GCP, and Oracle in multi-cloud environments to prioritize suspicious activity.
• Lead incident response coordination with customers and USCYBERCOM as the escalation point.
• Author incident reports and ensure timely, unified responses to major security events.
