Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Cybersecurity Team Lead to direct a front-line team securing DoD multi-cloud (AWS, GCP, Oracle) and hybrid infrastructures. The role sits at Columbus, OH; Scott AFB, IL; or Hill AFB, UT, with a focus on operational readiness and mission impact.

You will mentor engineers, oversee advanced alert triage, and coordinate incident response with customers and USCYBERCOM while maintaining a stable, five-day, 8-hour shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Security Clearance: Minimum active DoD Secret clearance, with eligibility to obtain a Top Secret (TS) clearance.
• Baseline Certification: Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or higher (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE, ISC2 SSCP, SANS GSEC, or equivalent).
• Specialty Certification: Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 CSSP-A Level Certification (e.g., CEH, CySA+, GCIA, or equivalent) within 180 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Cyber Defense Operations: Direct a team of 6-8 analysts in proactive threat monitoring, alert triage, multi-cloud correlation, and incident response coordination.
• People-First Leadership: Mentor talent, manage training and performance reviews, and drive a productive work culture.
• Strategic Communication: Maintain clear liaison between analysts, leadership, customers, and USCYBERCOM to ensure timely responses.
• Drive Mission Effectiveness: Align daily activity with long-term goals and ensure adherence to policies and leadership directives.
