Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Cybersecurity Team Lead to direct a front-line team securing DoD multi-cloud (AWS, GCP, Oracle) and hybrid infrastructures. This role sits at one of our core sites—Columbus, OH; Scott AFB, IL; or Hill AFB, UT—and emphasizes leadership, mentorship, and strategic security posture.

You will guide a 6-8 person team, oversee threat monitoring, incident response, and cross-cloud correlations while coordinating with senior leadership and external customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of formal management or equivalent team leadership experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 8+ years of directly relevant experience; military service counts.
• DoD Secret clearance with eligibility for TS clearance.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or higher (e.g., Security+ CE, SSCP, SANS GSEC).
• DoD 8570 CSSP-A Level Certification within 180 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Direct a 6-8 person cybersecurity team providing guidance across defense tasks.
• Oversee proactive threat monitoring and IOC integration into sensors and SIEMs.
• Lead multi-cloud correlation across AWS, GCP, and Oracle.
• Coordinate incident response with customers and USCYBERCOM.
• Author comprehensive incident reports and escalation communications.
